DIY cube shelves

I made three cubes but you can do more or less depending on space and feel free to adjust your sizing!


The sizes I made were 8x8 10x10 and 12x12 inches


They are about 5 inches in depth.


First I cut the board in the according lengths. I sanded them down on all sides since they are all visible.


Next choose a stain colour! I used grey for these ones. I painted on with a paint brush and used an old cloth to wipe off the access. Once the stain was dry I used a little white acrylic paint and dry brushed over top. I repeated this for all sides.


I used a nail gun to put them together, so it was less visible.


To hang them I just used a screw in the two top corners since it was going to hold a bit of weight.


They are fairly simple to make but they look so great in any room! Feel free to get creative! You could also paint them a solid colour instead of using stain!
