Lili Bermuda Fragrance Review

I have been lucky enough to sample several fragrances from Lili Bermuda and wanted to share my review of them. I wanted to try them out a few times to be able to accurately describe them and make the reviews valuable for those who are trying to select a fragrance.

They have some others I haven’t tried however you can check out their full collection on their Instagram page @lilibermuda it also links to their website! Each fragrance is crafted to perfection and has such a unique blend. But here are the ones I have tried and how I found them!

Calypso (men’s and women’s)- I wore it for the first day and was instantly in love. It’s a juicy citrus, very fresh and clean. I found it a lovely day time wear. Simple for daily use. The crisp freshness to it draws you in. I had to try it for a second day in a row, just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke since I was sure I wouldn’t be as taken by Calypso. Second day I wore it and still totally obsessed with it. It’s a fun vibrant but not overwhelming fragrance, I find it sits in the middle, not faint but not super strong. It’s a lovely contrast of bright citrus and the uniqueness of Bermuda sea grass, which gives it a light fruity note. I love how versatile this fragrance is! I see myself grabbing it for almost any occasion; lunch with a friend, coffee, running errands, appointments, or just simply taking the kids to school. It truly surprised me. It’s a young sophisticated, but vibrant scent. I feel like it would appeal to young professionals or anyone with a love for citrus with a unique blend.

My husband also tried Calypso since it’s a men’s and women’s fragrance and he said he really enjoyed the fragrance and how it was easy to wear. He feels that for him it would be more of an everyday scent. He never felt that he was wearing a fragrance that would be considered “feminine” and that it was unique and well rounded.

Fresh Water (men’s and women’s)-I love the bright fresh and clean scent this offers. You instantly pick up on the notes of lemon and grapefruit. They are vibrant and wake you up. This fragrance can uplift moods and brings a positive and well feeling over you. I was instantly more motivated just by wearing it, since it alerted my senses. This scent is one I would choose all summer long, or in the winter to take those winter blues away. It’s an easy wear since it’s light and fresh on the skin. A party, night out, family or friend gathering would be the perfect occasion to grab fresh water! Who doesn’t love a sassy punch of citrus to keep them feeling good!

My husband tried fresh water and found the fresh citrus burst refreshing. He likes smelling fresh and clean and the citrus in this fragrance does just that. It’s a very fresh clean burst. Again my husband said he would wear this as a daily scent.

South Water (men’s and women’s)- I love the fruity, vanilla smooth exotic notes from this. The fragrance instantly reminds me of a pina colada, since it’s my favourite vacation drink. It has those sweet and fruity notes that you just picture when you think tropical vacations! It brings back all the feelings of sun, beach, salty water and a warm breeze. Who would have thought you could capture all those things into a bottle! I would choose this all summer! It’s such a beautiful fragrance for pool parties, beach lounging, boating, cottage trips or summer festivals. You really can’t go wrong when you smell like a tropical island.

My husband also really loved this one because he said it’s exactly how he remembers Bermuda and the memories flood back when smelling it. He feels it’s definitely more for a young adult male as it’s playful and has sweet notes. For a male he feels this would be more of a casual wearing scent. This one is also his favourite of the men’s and women’s collection.

Oleander (women’s)- a beautiful powdery soft floral. This is a truly elegant fragrance. Just smelling it in the bottle it feels like it needs to be worn out, date nights come to mind quickly for that. Very sophisticated and charming. I really enjoyed this one, I found it very classy. It’s definitely a fragrance I would set aside for those “special” occasions, weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, date nights, or any fancy party. This would compliment any women well. It has soft musk notes as well. I love how easily this one is to detect each level in the perfume. I find this a very feminine fragrance and instantly felt a boost in confidence. It gives you a very classy, sexy, sophisticated sense.

Sunkiss (women’s)- this fragrance is a blend of all the things I personally look for in a fragrance! It’s fruity, floral with a little citrus and creamy vanilla! I love bright light and summer scents and this captures all those in one! It feels very summery. This fragrance could be worn at anytime, day or night. I just think it can fit into any scenario you would need a scent for. Because of the many different levels to it, it fits for so many occasions! When touring the perfumery in Bermuda this was my favourite fragrance during the sampling and it keeps a hold on my heart. It just brings back so many memories, but it is a very vibrant, young, flirty fragrance! I personally feel young adults would be drawn in by this fragrance the most based on all the notes it has to it, and the versatility of it. Myself in my late 20’s would wear this as my daily fragrance!

Lily (women’s)- I love florals but I find they feel to “old” for me. I just feel like it’s something I don’t often choose for myself. Lily has a beautiful modern feel to the floral. It’s soft, but bright with a hint of citrus. It has beautiful layers within the fragrance! It’s not your grandmas perfume! It feels classy but chic. I would personally use this as a daily fragrance since it has a beautiful feminine classy chic vibe. I was very impressed with this one as I personally wasn’t sure I would like wearing it as much as I did! It might be one of my new personal favourites.

Pink (women’s)- a lovely soft floral, sweet and fruity notes make this feel young. I personally think it would be loved by all young women! It’s a very sweet, captivating scent. I love how soft light yet sweet and fruity this feels. The floral notes compliment it so well. I feel like the younger me would have worn this beautiful fragrance for years! It just has a lovely soft tones that make it something to fall in love with. A very easy choice for daily wear as it’s a very well rounded fragrance. It has a freshness to it that reminds me of spring or a new day, that new adventure that awaits. It’s truly a beautiful blend that makes you feel young again. To relive the youthful days.

Petals (women’s)- a nice smooth well rounded floral. If your big into floral fragrances this one doesn’t disappoint! It has lovely notes being soft and smooth and is full of beautiful floral tones from Bermuda’s island. It reminds me of walking through a beautiful blooming garden. All the blooms scents blending together in harmony. It’s a beautiful elegant fragrance which speaks to my feminine side. I would choose it for special events or going out, date nights would be the perfect time to pick up petals!

Coral (women’s)- light airy freshness, beautiful floral notes with smooth powdery layers. It’s very feminine and elegant. It would be a great choice for a daily fragrance or outings. It has a sophisticated yet romantic feel about it. Which makes me feel elegant yet sexy while wearing it. It’s such a beautiful blend that I find myself turning to it again and again. It’s definitely a timeless fragrance.

Nautilus (men’s)- inspired by a summer Bermuda storm, which we happened to experience while we were on vacation. This is true about the scent is an enticing, sexy, powerful, seductive scent. It has a powdery base with fresh, crisp aquatic and floral notes. It’s absolutely stunning scent on a man. It grabs you in, makes you turn your head. My husband said it’s by far his favourite fragrance he’s ever worn. It’s an easy everyday wear but also the perfect compliment for a night out.

32 North (mens)- a very smooth, fresh citrus with some floral aquatic notes. It’s the perfect scent for a young professional. It captures youth, but masculinity. My husband really loved this scent and said he felt it was refreshing and a good choice for a daily fragrance. I personally really loved it on my husband and felt it was a very refreshing yet masculine scent.

64 West (mens)- a bright woody herbaceous, yet fruity and fresh masculine fragrance. It’s inspiration was from the earthy, woody and citrus notes of the island and its captured beautifully in this scent. I personally love it on my husband as more of a going out scent. He said he would wear it for date nights, dinners, outings with friends or family. It’s a very masculine scent that compliments nights out very well.

Somers (mens)- a smooth woody spiced citrus. It’s very rich in its scent. The addition of Bermuda cedar in this one make its super unique and masculine. It gives off the sexy yet sophisticated feel a man wants for a fragrance. My husband said this one is his second favourite next to nautilus. He really gravitates to fragrances he can wear anytime and he feels the notes blended in this one are perfect for daily wear.

I truly hope this review helps you find a fragrance you love. I honestly love them all and have such a unique purpose for each and that guides me to selecting which one to wear that day. I love to change up what fragrance I wear. But any choice from Lili Bermuda is a beautiful one!
